The Reboli Center for Art and History Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary with “PAINT THE TOWN!”  a Plein Air Painting Day & Summer Exhibition.

The Reboli Center for Art and History is proud to celebrate its 10-year anniversary with PAINT THE TOWN!, a special Plein Air Painting Day taking place on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (rain date: Sunday, May 17th, same time).

This vibrant outdoor event will feature more than 30 invited artists painting en plein air at two picturesque locations: Stony Brook Harbor and the historic Gamecock Cottage at West Meadow Beach (with many thanks to Brookhaven Town Councilmember Jonathan Kornreich). Visitors will have the unique opportunity to watch artists at work as they bring stunning landscape paintings to life throughout the day.

PAINT THE TOWN! was thoughtfully conceived and organized by Reboli Center President, Lois Reboli and The Reboli Center team, in honor of Joseph Reboli, celebrating his artistic legacy and deep connection to the local landscape that continues to inspire generations of artists today.

Three of my watercolor paintings are on display at this time.
